Temba Bavuma's South Africa lay claim to being the new kings of Test cricket after their victory over Australia…

South Africa secured the world No. 1 ICC Test ranking following a 176-run victory over Australia in Cape Town to claim a 2-1 series triumph. The win extended the Proteas' nearly seven-year unbeaten home streak and placed captain Temba Bavuma's side back at the top of the Test rankings for the first time in 12 years.
Kagiso Rabada helped bowl Australia out for 111 on the final day, while Marco Jansen earned player-of-the-series honors. The result marks Bavuma's 13th victory in 15 Tests as captain, also moving South Africa above Australia in the World Test Championship standings.
