LAWRENCE BOOTH: Usman Khawaja has claimed that the entire Australian dressing-room knew about the sandpaper scandal at Cape Town in 2018.

Former Australian Test cricketer Usman Khawaja has claimed that the entire Australian team knew about the 2018 sandpaper ball-tampering scandal in Cape Town. Speaking ahead of the release of his new autobiography, Sabr, Khawaja stated that the scheme was not limited to Steve Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft, contradicting previous denials by senior players.
According to Khawaja, the plan was initially discussed during the second Test in Port Elizabeth. He revealed he urged the dressing room to take collective responsibility at the time and claimed Cricket Australia never contacted him to give evidence during its official investigation into the incident.
