Former India batter Ajinkya Rahane selected his all-time underrated ODI playing eleven during an appearance in a Cricbuzz video. Tasked with highlighting players who merited more recognition during their careers, Rahane included only two former Indian cricketers in his team: Suresh Raina at number three and Robin Singh as a finisher.
Rahane selected Graeme Smith and Nathan Astle as opening batters, followed by Raina, Aravinda de Silva, and wicketkeeper Mark Boucher. The lower order features all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, Robin Singh, spinners Daniel Vettori and Graeme Swann, and fast bowlers Shane Bond and Chaminda Vaas.
