Arshdeep Singh had a special reason to break into a dance after taking a wicket against New Zealand in the first ODI. The Indian pacer revealed that his unique on-field celebration was dedicated to his girlfriend, actor-model Samreen Kaur.
Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh revealed that his dance celebration during the first ODI against New Zealand was dedicated to his girlfriend, Samreen Kaur. Speaking during the innings interval, Arshdeep explained that the dance steps are shared between the couple to cheer each other up when moods are low. The celebration followed his dismissal of New Zealand all-rounder Kyle Jamieson.
Arshdeep spearheaded India's bowling attack with figures of 4/70, helping bowl out New Zealand for 185 at Eden Park. Following a rain interruption, India chased down a revised DLS target of 143 in 22.4 overs to secure a five-wicket victory, led by Virat Kohli's 74 runs.
