Rizwan asks NCCIA to return phone and specify nature of inquiry

Pakistan batter Mohammad Rizwan has formally written to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), requesting the return of his mobile phone and clarification regarding the nature of its inquiry. The agency took possession of Rizwan's phone on August 31 in England following Pakistan's Test defeat at Lord's, under the initial understanding that it would be returned within three hours.

The letter follows a Lahore High Court decision dismissing Rizwan's petition against the agency's jurisdiction while instructing the NCCIA not to cause harassment or inconvenience. Rizwan and teammate Imam-ul-Haq were investigated after the tour, and Rizwan continues to seek formal written details about the specific incident being investigated.
