‘Maybe the best one that I’ve played’ – Powell pleased with match-winning CPL bash

Jamaica Kingsmen captain Rovman Powell described his match-winning 40 not out from 17 balls as possibly his best CPL innings after leading his team into the final. Powell's late heroics secured victory against Guyana Amazon Warriors in Qualifier 2 with two balls to spare, successfully knocking out the three-time consecutive finalists.

Powell shared his Player-of-the-Match award with Guyana's Shimron Hetmyer, who struck an unbeaten 102 off 45 deliveries in a losing cause. A pivotal turning point came in the 18th over off bowler Imran Tahir, when fielder Mavendra Dindyal touched the boundary rope while attempting a relay catch on Powell.
