Mohammad Rizwan has been cleared by the PCB to play and captain SNGPL in the seventh and final round of the President's Trophy, starting October 19, 2026.
Mohammad Rizwan has been cleared by the Pakistan Cricket Board to play and captain Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in the final round of the President's Trophy, starting October 19, 2026. Rizwan had missed earlier rounds of the domestic tournament due to an ongoing National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency probe regarding online betting and gambling in Pakistan cricket.
After having his mobile phone seized and a legal petition dismissed by the Lahore High Court, Rizwan resumed direct communication with the PCB before receiving clearance. SNGPL currently sit at the bottom of the standings and face Khan Research Laboratories in Rawalpindi, while opener Imam-ul-Haq remains under scrutiny without clearance.
