Siraj aims to create team magic as captain, celebrating a hard-earned win and mentoring insights on Hyderabad’s domestic success.

Mohammed Siraj secured his first victory as Hyderabad captain on Tuesday, leading his team to a season-opening Ranji Trophy win that included a bonus point. The 32-year-old India international expressed satisfaction with the result, describing his first triumph as captain of his domestic side as an amazing feeling.
Playing on a challenging red-soil pitch, spinners dominated the contest by claiming 27 of the 30 wickets that fell, while Siraj took two wickets. Siraj also praised domestic cricket veteran Wasim Jaffer, who serves as mentor for Hyderabad Cricket Association teams, for guiding the squad's batters.
