The qualifying session for the Singapore Grand Prix has been delayed after the earlier delays to the sprint race

Qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix has been officially delayed following earlier weather disruptions at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Originally scheduled for 21:00 local time (2:00pm BST), the qualifying session was pushed back to 21:30 local time (2:30pm BST). Heavy rain prior to the earlier sprint race triggered schedule adjustments and granted teams extra time to repair damaged cars.
The sprint race featured severe disruptions and set a record with nine drivers failing to finish. Multiple collisions occurred during the event, including a last-lap incident between McLaren teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Teams now have additional time to prepare their cars before drivers battle for Sunday's Grand Prix grid positions.
