Lewis Hamilton has called on Ferrari to improve its key weakness for F1 2027.

Lewis Hamilton has urged Ferrari to address a significant power unit deficit over the winter to mount a championship challenge in 2027. Despite a maiden Ferrari victory in Barcelona, Hamilton noted that an engine performance disadvantage compared to rivals has undermined the team's strong aerodynamic development, leaving them often as the third or fourth-fastest car on the grid.
Hamilton currently trails championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli by 106 points with seven races remaining in the season. Addressing recent speculation surrounding team principal Fred Vasseur, Hamilton expressed hope that Ferrari's third- and fourth-place finishes in Malaysia would quieten negative chatter as the team aims to close the gap.
