Formula E chief executive Jeff Dodds has expressed a strong desire to have Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen test the championship's upcoming Gen4 car. Dodds stated he highly values the four-time Formula 1 world champion's feedback and technical insight, though direct discussions regarding a test drive have not yet taken place.
The new Gen4 electric race car features permanent all-wheel drive, offering up to 600kW of power in Attack Mode. Dodds also highlighted Verstappen's broader motorsport ventures, including sim-to-track initiatives and Verstappen Racing, noting potential crossover opportunities as Formula E prepares for a 2027 double-header race in Zandvoort.
