Esteban Ocon denies reports that his being dropped by Haas at the Mexico City Grand Prix was a consequence of a row with team principal Ayao Komatsu descending into a physical confrontation.

Esteban Ocon has categorically denied reports that a physical confrontation occurred between him and Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu prior to his removal from the Mexico City Grand Prix. The denial followed a report in French outlet L'Equipe suggesting an argument turned physical. While acknowledging a difference in viewpoints led to discussions, the 30-year-old French driver condemned violence and rejected all allegations of physical conflict.
Haas dropped Ocon for the remainder of the race weekend following a dispute over tyre choices with race engineer Laura Mueller during Friday's second practice session. The team had already announced last month that Ocon will leave at the end of the season, with Formula 2 championship leader Rafael Camara replacing him.
