Red Bull F1 issue Liam Lawson statement

Red Bull released an official statement thanking Liam Lawson for his performances during a three-race substitute stint alongside Max Verstappen. Lawson was temporarily promoted from sister team Racing Bulls after regular driver Isack Hadjar broke his wrist during the summer break. Over those three races, Lawson collected 14 championship points, finishing seventh at the Dutch Grand Prix and sixth at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Hadjar is confirmed to return to the cockpit for the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix following Red Bull's announcement of an extended contract. Lawson now returns to Visa Cash App Racing Bulls to complete the campaign, where his future remains undecided alongside five other unconfirmed drivers on the Formula 1 grid.
