Ferrari F1: Guido Schittone says Frédéric Vasseur needs a key pit-wall figure

Formula 1 journalist Guido Schittone stated in an interview that Ferrari requires a dedicated pit-wall authority to maximize its results. While praising team principal Frédéric Vasseur for developing a competitive car in the SF-26, Schittone argued that organizational weaknesses during qualifying and race management continue to cost the team valuable championship points.

Schittone explained that Ferrari needs a definitive sporting figure capable of making immediate, authoritative decisions during race weekends. He added that the team must provide clearer direction during races to properly manage drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
