Brundle wasn't overly impressed with what he saw in Singapore.

Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle criticized Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton for attempting to manage team strategy from the cockpit during the Singapore Grand Prix. After running in a podium position, Hamilton opted to stay out on aging tires during a Virtual Safety Car rather than pit, ultimately losing positions to Kimi Antonelli, Lando Norris, and Oscar Piastri. Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur confirmed the original plan was to double stack Hamilton behind Charles Leclerc.
Brundle wrote in his column that managing strategy from behind the wheel is extremely difficult in modern Formula 1. Hamilton publicly accepted full responsibility for the strategy decision on social media, admitting that his call did not work out and expressing an apology to the team.
