Behind the scenes of the Internet Invitational with the people responsible for bringing the tournament — and the money — to life.

The second season of the Internet Invitational has returned to YouTube as a massive collaborative production between Barstool Sports and Bob Does Sports. Spearheaded by Barstool founder Dave Portnoy and lead producer Brendan Jones, the high-stakes influencer tournament expanded to 64 competitors and featured a $4 million purse hosted at Big Cedar in Missouri. The production utilized 82 cameras to capture more than 800 hours of footage across the event.
Jones and multiple editing teams compiled the 28 terabytes of content into six episodes designed to merge competitive golf with reality television storytelling. Following the viral success of the first season, the event operates as an entertainment-first showcase funded by sponsorships, generating millions of views and establishing itself as a major production rivaling traditional golf broadcasts.
