The Story in 60 Seconds

Trump Turnberry, located on Scotland's west coast, features two championship golf layouts: the acclaimed Ailsa Course and King Robert the Bruce. The Ailsa Course, a four-time host of the Open Championship, ranks 18th in GOLF's Top 100 Courses in the World. The resort is scheduled to host the Bridges Cup next month, bringing an elite 24-player mid-amateur event to Scotland for the first time.

Architect Martin Ebert has substantially transformed the courses, leading significant redesigns of the Ailsa in 2016 and 2025. Historical changes include Mackenzie Ross rebuilding the course in the 1950s after wartime military use, followed by Ebert's alterations along the coastal cliffs, such as reconfiguring the 9th, 10th, and 11th holes.
