The decision comes during what has been a challenging year for the Asian Tour

The Asian Tour has officially cancelled its 2027 Qualifying School following severe disruptions to its schedule. The decision comes after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund chose to end its funding for LIV Golf, resulting in the termination of The International Series and substantially reducing playing opportunities for tour members.
All players who entered the 2027 Qualifying School will receive full refunds. Asian Tour CEO Cho Minn Thant confirmed the tour has formed a new partnership with the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, aiming to use 2027 as a rebuilding year with co-sanctioned events.
