The Asian Tour has postponed its flagship season-ending PIF Saudi International tournament in the wake of security fears in the country

The Asian Tour has postponed the $5m PIF Saudi International, originally scheduled for November 18–21 at Riyadh Golf Club, due to security concerns in Saudi Arabia. The decision follows recent attacks on Riyadh's international airport and logistical evaluations. Tour officials stated they are in contact with members regarding the schedule, though no rescheduling date was confirmed.
The cancellation delivers another setback to the Asian Tour following the recent end of its lucrative LIV Golf partnership. While Asian Tour CEO Cho Minn Thant expressed gratitude to Golf Saudi and anticipated returning to Riyadh, upcoming DP World Tour events in the region remain scheduled with contingency venues prepared.
