GOLF.com game-improvement editor Zephyr Melton did a putting fundamentals bootcamp with Tour coach Stephen Sweeney to fix his putting.

GOLF.com editor Zephyr Melton worked with Tour coach and GOLF Top 100 Teacher Stephen Sweeney to resolve putting struggles through a fundamental bootcamp session. Sweeney, who coaches professional golfers such as Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, and Joaquin Niemann, examined Melton's stroke by first evaluating setup fundamentals on straight, flat putts.
Sweeney identified two setup flaws disrupting consistency, starting with poor eye alignment. Melton's eyes were positioned inside the ball line at setup, causing him to aim right of the target and compensate with an inside-out path.
