The US captain admitted making his picks for the team was "one of the hardest things" he's had to do

US Presidents Cup captain Brandt Snedeker has responded to comments made by JJ Spaun after omitting him from the team for the matches at Medinah. Spaun, who won the 2025 US Open, voiced his frustration after claiming victory at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, noting that Snedeker previously labeled him the "odd man out" in a brief 45-second call.
Snedeker defended his selections, explaining that finalizing his picks was one of the hardest tasks he faced due to deep competition. Snedeker opted for captain's picks including Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Chris Gotterup, Jacob Bridgeman, and Jackson Koivun, stating that he ultimately trusted his gut.
