JJ Spaun capped a memorable BMW PGA Championship debut by claiming his maiden Rolex Series title at Wentworth, sealing victory with a stunning finish. But alongside the celebrations came one of the week’s most unusual sights, a Jeremy Clarkson mask…
American golfer JJ Spaun secured his maiden Rolex Series title by winning the 2026 BMW PGA Championship during his debut appearance at Wentworth. Spaun sealed the victory with a strong finish, birdieing four of his final five holes. The win holds personal significance for Spaun, whose family frequently vacations in England.
Spaun revealed he played with a chip on his shoulder after being left off the United States Presidents Cup team by captain Brandt Snedeker. Despite the snub, Spaun focused on staying patient through Wentworth's challenging closing stretch to secure the biggest victory of his career.
