Jon Rahm has left a staggering nine-figure sum on the table after walking away from rebel tour LIV Golf following Saudi Arabia's exodus from the sport.

Jon Rahm has walked away from LIV Golf, reaching a consensual separation agreement that leaves an estimated £75.5 million ($100 million) of his remaining contract on the table. The Spanish golfer rejected terms for a restructured "LIV 2.0" following the withdrawal of funding by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund at the end of the 2026 season. Rahm previously stood as the league's largest unsecured creditor, owed £5.7 million following LIV's recent bankruptcy filing.
In exchange for releasing all financial claims, the 31-year-old reportedly regains rights to his name, image, likeness, nickname "Rahmbo," and the "Legion XIII" team brand. US Bankruptcy Court Judge Michael B. Kaplan will evaluate the proposed separation agreement on November 5. Meanwhile, LIV aims to rebuild under private equity firm BC Partners.
