Four-time World Long Drive Championship winner Kyle Berkshire has broken his own world record by hitting a drive measuring 588.3 yards. The American accomplished the feat during a session documented on his YouTube and social media channels, surpassing his prior record of 579.63 yards by nearly nine yards.
The record-setting shot occurred at Rochelle Ranch Golf Course in Rawlins, Wyoming, which was also the site of his previous mark. Berkshire hit 335 golf balls at clubhead speeds consistently exceeding 150 mph during the attempt and reaffirmed his ultimate goal of hitting a 600-yard drive.
