Nelly Korda, who has 19 career LPGA wins, took a step closer to the LPGA Hall of Fame on Tuesday without hitting a single shot.

Nelly Korda clinched the 2026 LPGA Rolex Player of the Year award after competitors Jeeno Thitikul and Miyu Yamashita did not enter the upcoming Annika tournament. Their absence mathematically eliminated them from contention with three events remaining in the season, securing Korda's second career Player of the Year honor.
Winning the award grants Korda one point toward LPGA Hall of Fame qualification, raising her career total to 26 points. She now needs just one additional point to meet the 27-point threshold, which she can achieve by winning either the Annika or the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
