Harris English's caddie Eric Larson has received an official pardon from US President Donald Trump decades after being convicted of dealing cocaine. Larson had previously served 11 years in federal prison over 30 years ago, which had created significant travel restrictions affecting his professional career.
Due to updated UK immigration laws introduced in 2024, Larson was barred from entering the country to work the Genesis Scottish Open and The Open Championship. President Trump signed the full and unconditional pardon on September 3 after Larson formally applied through the Justice Department.
