Boston Common Golf has acquired former Open Championship winner Shane Lowry from The Bay Golf Club in the first-ever trade in TGL history. Lowry joins a roster that features Rory McIlroy ahead of their opening match against Los Angeles Golf Club on Jan. 2 for the second TGL season.
In exchange for Lowry, The Bay Golf Club received Boston Common's fourth selection to fill roster spots over the next three offseasons, along with commercial considerations. TGL rosters will expand to five players for the upcoming campaign, with Boston Common's complete lineup expected to be announced shortly.
