Garcia is weighing up his options after he was allowed to terminate his LIV Golf contract

Sergio Garcia has obtained a court order allowing him to terminate his LIV Golf contract following the league's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. The Spaniard filed the motion to eliminate uncertainty regarding his free-agent status, freeing him to pursue other professional tours and commercial deals for 2027 and beyond after captaining Fireballs GC since June 2022.
Potential future options for Garcia include rejoining the DP World Tour full-time and competing on the Asian Tour to revive his Ryder Cup prospects. Although returning to the PGA Tour would require navigating sanctions, he could potentially utilize his top-20 career money exemption if permitted.
