The Juddmonte-owned filly Amusingly defeated odds-on favorite Folsom Blues to win the Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at ParisLongchamp on Sunday. Trained by Francis-Henri Graffard and ridden by Colin Keane, she was switched from the Prix Marcel Boussac to run against colts over seven furlongs, tracking Folsom Blues before pulling away with a decisive burst.
Elsewhere on the card, Joseph O'Brien claimed the Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac with Green Empress, ridden by Christophe Soumillon, narrowly holding off Data. Both winning camps mentioned potential future targets, including the Breeders' Cup.
