Monti runs riot with six-win performance

Driver Drew Monti dominated Saturday night's card at Batavia Downs, winning six of the 12 races to extend his dash win lead at the meet. His six-win night included a natural hat trick spanning races five through seven, as well as victories in both weekly feature events using sharply contrasting driving styles.

Monti captured the $13,500 Open Handicap pace on the lead with 12-year-old Lip Reader A in 1:54, and followed up by driving Seventier from last to take the $13,500 Open Handicap trot in 1:57.3. His other wins came aboard Moved Bythe Spirit, Play Rock, Soul Assassin, and Winchester Phoenix.
