Papis Rocket makes it four straight

Papis Rocket secured his fourth consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon, capturing the $7,150 Preferred Pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park. Driven by David Dowling and trained by Mike Ramsay, the four-year-old stallion controlled the pace before digging in to hold off heavily favored Arbitrage Hanover by a quarter-length in 1:54.1.

David Dowling and Adam Merner highlighted the 12-dash program by each securing driving triples. Dowling also won with Saltwater Captain and The Sports Desk, while Merner recorded victories aboard Im From A Beach, Starship Glyde, and No Mo Fear.
