Demetrio Crisantes discusses his 2026 season and AFL goals

Arizona Diamondbacks top prospect Demetrio Crisantes reflected on his rapid progression through the minor leagues during the 2026 season and shared his goals for the Arizona Fall League. The 22-year-old infielder advanced from High-A Hillsboro to Triple-A Reno this season, hitting for the cycle and crediting MLB veterans like Pavin Smith and Santiago Espinal for helping him learn consistency.

Now playing for the Salt River Rafters, Crisantes aims to stay healthy, refine his defense at second base, and gain valuable experience playing alongside prospects from other organizations. Through his first 14 AFL games, the Tucson native hit .281 with six doubles and six stolen bases as he works toward a future major league call-up.
