Talks to this point have been surface level, but November could be busier than normal for player movement.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are expected to listen to trade inquiries for star second baseman Ketel Marte this offseason, according to Arizona Sports' John Gambadoro. The club is evaluating roster changes after missing the postseason for a third straight year, though discussions so far remain surface level.
Marte, who turned 33, reached 10 years of service time and holds 10-5 no-trade rights. He is signed through 2030 with a 2031 player option, but complications arose after he was placed on the restricted list in August.
