Former Braves owner Ted Turner will have the chance to be remembered among baseball royalty with his inclusion on the Contemporary Baseball Era ballot.

Former Atlanta Braves owner Ted Turner has been named on the Hall of Fame Contemporary Baseball Era ballot for managers, executives, and umpires. Turner, who purchased the franchise in 1976, is featured on the ballot alongside other notable figures such as Dusty Baker. Results from the Contemporary Era voting will be broadcast live on MLB Network on December 6, with inductees officially entering Cooperstown on July 25, 2027.
Steven Teal argues that Turner's nomination honors his lasting legacy with the Braves, highlighting how broadcasting games on WTBS helped create a national fan base and fueled a dynasty that captured 14 consecutive division titles.
