The Baltimore Orioles have selected the contract of veteran swingman Albert Suarez for the fifth time this season. Suarez rejoins the major league club to provide bullpen innings for their final regular season series against the New York Yankees.
To accommodate the move, Trey Gibson was optioned to the Spring Training complex, while Kyle Bradish was transferred to the 60-day injured list due to a sports hernia. Suarez has recorded a 4.12 ERA across 29 relief appearances for the Orioles this year.
