The Atlanta Braves are bringing Perry Minasian back into their front office as a senior advisor in amateur scouting, according to reports from Bob Nightengale and Jesús Cano. Minasian previously served as the Braves' assistant general manager before leaving to become the general manager of the Los Angeles Angels ahead of the 2021 season.
Minasian's hiring follows the return of Dana Brown to the same role last week after Brown's dismissal from the Houston Astros. The Angels fired Minasian in late June following a five-and-a-half-season tenure without a postseason appearance, culminating in a franchise-worst 62-100 record this year.
