A Yankees trade pitch would acquire White Sox infielder Chase Meidroth as Jazz Chisholm's replacement in a four-for-one deal with Chicago.

A trade proposal published by Baseball Trade Values suggests the New York Yankees acquire Chicago White Sox second baseman Chase Meidroth to replace free agent Jazz Chisholm Jr. The proposed four-for-one deal would send shortstop Anthony Volpe, starter Will Warren, and pitching prospects Elmer Rodriguez and Ben Hess to Chicago.
The Yankees did not extend a qualifying offer to Chisholm, leaving second base open ahead of his expected departure. In 2026, Meidroth posted a .765 OPS and 4.5 fWAR to lead American League second basemen, offering team control through 2028.
