Steve Stone joins NBC broadcast team for White Sox-Astros Wild Card series

Longtime Chicago White Sox color commentator Steve Stone will join NBC's broadcast booth for the upcoming AL Wild Card series between the White Sox and Houston Astros. Stone initially revealed the assignment during Sunday's "Hit and Run" program on The Score, which was subsequently confirmed by NBC Sports in an official press release.

Stone will be joined on the broadcast by play-by-play announcer Tom McCarthy, analysts Geoff Blum and Adam Ottavino, and on-field reporter Britney Eurton. The best-of-three series will air on Peacock and NBCSN, with Games 1 and 2 scheduled for 4:00 p.m. CT first pitches in Houston.
