Seated alongside baseball operations president Nick Krall and general manager Brad Meador, Castellini backed the front office's strategy to build a contender following a last-place 75-87 finish in the NL Central in 2026.

Castellini confirmed that ownership has no plans to sell the franchise and stated that his role is to provide resources while letting baseball personnel make baseball decisions. He highlighted young players such as Elly De La Cruz, Sal Stewart, and Chase Burns, while also noting that the dimensions of Great American Ball Park will remain unchanged.
