A two-time Gatorade girls’ national soccer player of the year, Maddie DiMaria scored 24 times in 23 appearances with the U.S. U-17 team.

Angel City FC has officially announced the signing of 17-year-old forward Maddie DiMaria to a four-year contract on Thursday. DiMaria joins the squad ahead of the club's NWSL playoff quarterfinal match against the Kansas City Current, with financial terms of the multi-year deal remaining undisclosed.
DiMaria was the leading scorer at the U-17 Women's World Cup, netting 12 goals in four matches in Morocco to break Michelle Akers' American tournament record. Sporting director Mark Parsons noted the club had scouted DiMaria for nearly two years before completing the signing.
