Shohei Ohtani took batting practice ahead of Game 1 of the NLCS, but will he find success at the plate against Jacob Misiorowski? Dave Roberts thinks so.

The Los Angeles Dodgers remain confident that designated hitter Shohei Ohtani will overcome his recent batting slump in the upcoming National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers. After batting just 2-for-13 during the NLDS against the Atlanta Braves, Ohtani took on-field batting practice at American Family Field on Saturday. Manager Dave Roberts stated he believes in Ohtani's talent and expects him to break out of his funk.
Ohtani faces a challenging matchup in Game 1 against Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski, who emphasized that he will not change his aggressive approach against the superstar. Meanwhile, Roberts indicated that infielder Miguel Rojas is expected to make the NLCS roster despite a back issue, while the Dodgers plan to adjust their roster to carry 13 pitchers and 13 position players.
