The Milwaukee Brewers face the San Diego Padres in Game 1 of the National League Division Series. Ace Jacob Misiorowski, who posted a 1.80 ERA with 252 strikeouts during the season, starts for the Brewers against San Diego veteran left-hander Robbie Ray, who recorded a 3.59 ERA across 30 starts.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy selected Christian Yelich as designated hitter and placed Cooper Pratt sixth in the batting order. Murphy also noted Jake Bauers remains limited by toe and shin injuries, while pitcher Brandon Woodruff is nearing a return to mound throwing.
