A Pod of Their Own’s Annual Dollars 4 Dingers event

A Pod of Their Own and Home Run Applesauce are hosting their eighth annual Dollars 4 Dingers event on Saturday, September 26, at the Lions Head Tavern. The fundraiser starts at 2:00 PM, with all proceeds directly supporting the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Fans pledge money for every home run hit by the New York Mets or another chosen baseball team throughout September.

Now in its eighth year, the Dollars 4 Dingers initiative has generated over $77,000 to date, including nearly $6,000 raised so far this year. The event features a charity raffle offering various prizes, highlighted by an Amazin' Mets Foundation-donated baseball signed by Francisco Lindor, alongside memorabilia from the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Carlos Beltrán items, and themed merchandise.
