Andrew Painter and the Phillies stave off elimination

The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Atlanta Braves 4-3 in extra innings to level their NL Wild Card series at 1-1. Trailing by two runs late after an eighth-inning fielding error by Bryce Harper, Philadelphia rallied behind back-to-back home runs from Kyle Schwarber and Harper to send the contest into extras.
Alec Bohm supplied the decisive blow with a go-ahead home run in the tenth inning. Rookie pitcher Andrew Painter delivered key late innings on the mound to secure the postseason victory for the Phillies.
