First Winning Season Since ‘18 Leaves Pirates Wanting More

The Pittsburgh Pirates completed their first winning season since 2018 under 46-year-old manager Don Kelly, winning their regular-season finale on Sunday in Detroit. Although the club fell short of qualifying for the postseason after contending into September, securing a record above .500 marked just their fifth winning season in the past 34 years.
