Will Brennan hit .302 in Triple-A but went 2-for-23 with the SF Giants in 2026, losing his 40-man roster spot after a promising spring.

San Francisco Giants outfielder Will Brennan struggled to make an impact at the major-league level in 2026 despite an impressive spring training. Nathan Hirschi notes that after hitting .325 in spring training, Brennan played in only 11 games for the Giants, managing just two hits before being designated for assignment on June 10.
Brennan cleared waivers and spent the remainder of the season with Triple-A Sacramento, where he hit .302 with 11 home runs in 95 games. Hirschi argues Brennan may be destined as a solid minor-leaguer, facing an uncertain future as he weighs free agency or a minor-league return.
