Last offseason, the outfield depth predictably experienced the most turnover. This time around, the pitching will likely see the most changes as the offseason progresses.

Around the Foghorn's Jeff Young writes that the San Francisco Giants will likely experience the most roster turnover across their pitching staff this offseason. While the outfield depth is relatively stable following multiple late-season additions, Young expects significant reshuffling among pitchers. Late waiver additions Duncan Davitt and Joel Kuhnel struggled to impress, while veterans Tristan Beck, Carson Seymour, and Reiver Sanmartín face uncertain roster spots.
Young also highlights upcoming roster constraints, noting that the Giants must activate 17 players from the 60-day injured list. Furthermore, seven arbitration-eligible relievers face scrutiny, with Ryan Walker and José Buttó identified as potential non-tender or bubble candidates as the club seeks to upgrade a bullpen that struggled in 2026.
