3 World Series participants Rangers should be chasing once offseason begins

Writer Jeff Speicher argues that the Texas Rangers should target three upcoming unrestricted free agents playing in the World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays. With the offseason approaching, Speicher suggests general manager Chris Young prioritize Brewers first baseman Jake Bauers, Brewers left-handed reliever JoJo Romero, and Rays outfielder Cedric Mullins to improve the roster for next season.

Speicher contends that Bauers would offer an upgrade over Jake Burger at first base, while Romero could reinforce a thin left-handed relief corps. Additionally, the writer recommends pursuing Mullins as a buy-low bounce-back candidate in center field following a difficult season for young outfielder Evan Carter.
