Former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Jon Jones stated on social media that he is keeping his options open regarding a potential return to mixed martial arts. Although Jones noted that he likely will not compete again, he confirmed that he remains active in the UFC's official drug-testing pool, leaving open the possibility of a comeback.
According to official testing records, the 39-year-old fighter has been tested four times in 2026. Jones previously retired in June 2025 following a successful heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, which remains the last bout of his professional fighting career.
