Former Denver Nuggets guard KJ Simpson is expected to sign with Turkish club Galatasaray, according to reports from Eurohoops and Eski Açık. Although the team has not formally confirmed the agreement, an official announcement is anticipated soon. Simpson was recently waived by Denver near the start of training camp to open up a two-way roster slot for Ryan Nembhard.
Selected 42nd overall in the 2024 NBA draft, Simpson previously played for the Charlotte Hornets and Nuggets across 56 regular-season games. If finalized, the guard will head overseas to join Galatasaray in Turkey's top domestic league and the Basketball Champions League, teaming up with former NBA players Chimezie Metu and Jerome Robinson.
